The lenses of his sunglasses have fish on them and I can’t tell if he was trying to “get” the fish. He kept putting his arms up in the air (when he wasn’t trying to pull the sunglasses off his face).
Here are E’s seven month pictures with the bear. He is wearing a “Western Govenors University” shirt.
Today E got his second flu shot (he didn’t even flinch when they gave it to him) and I asked them to check his weight. He only weighs 15 lbs 1 oz which means he is now in the 3rd Percentile (he was in the 7th Percentile last month).
I talked with the doctor and he said that wasn’t enough weight gain. After I told him E’s feeding schedule/amounts he recommended I offer E a 2 ounce bottle after I nurse him. He also commented that as kids start moving more they usually drop a few percentages.
I think I will try the 2 oz bottle after I nurse him and go back in a few weeks and have them check his weight again.
Anyway. Here are some new things he’s been doing:
Sitting up alone
Eating cereal once a day and a veggies once a day
Drinks from a regular cup but doesn’t know what to do with a sippy cup
Blowing raspberries and bubbles
Takes a “big boy” bath sitting up
Rolls all over the place when he’s on the floor
I feel so blessed to have such a happy and healthy baby. He definitely makes us smile.
